Ok i have bought the shimano funnel and thought this will be a cake walk to bleed. NO! I followed the shimano instructions to the letter and so far i had oil piss out of reservoir cap and in to the funnel when using syringe and yes all the reservoir caps were on tight. They are new levers so dont understand why oil is coming through the cap? Then when you finished that and let the oil go back from the funnel to the caliper in to bag/collector it didnt move, i couldnt even get the oil out of the tube. What in holy hell am i doing wrong? I am pretty bike mechanic savvy so just dont get why this has been so much bother. Help me please.
ok I wrote the above last night while tired and frustrated and it doesnt read that well in the cold light of day. So broken down in to a more condensed form, why when trying to push fluid in via a syringe at the caliper end the oil started coming out of the lever (I assume the resevoir cap) and not a lot going in to the funnel, any ideas? Resevoir cap was on tight so nothing loose. Its a new lever as well which I cant return.
