My m8100 12 speed right hand direct mount shifter has died and I need to replace it.The only ones I can found are the old style band fit.Is there any reason I can’t use one with slx i spec brakes.
If only everything was straight forward. Thanks in advance

Buy the band one and then swap the direct mount cover from your old shifter.
