just got my new deore chainset and bb today with no instructions! it has 3 spacers with it i just dont know where they go? ive tryed 2 on the driveside and one non drive and the crank axel sticks about 1/2" out of the otherside?
this is the sizing of the on-one website:
BB Shell
68mm (axle length of 113mm for most cranks these days except for '03 and later LX which need a whopping 121mm axle, according to this).
any help?
cheers tom
68mm bb = 2 drive side and 1 non drive side
ive tryed that and there is only a tiny bit of axel sticking through? not even enough for that little nut thing to fasten on?
There are other things on the internet than this site you know?
Oh and try hitting it fairly hard with a rubber mallet to make sure it's properly inserted
Second that. This could well be your problem. If you don't have a rubber mallet any heavy hammer-like object will do. Just make sure you put a bit of wood between said hammer and chainset.Oh and try hitting it fairly hard with a rubber mallet to make sure it's properly inserted
sorted it now i hope (fingers crossed) i was given 3x 2.5mm spacers and 1 one the drive side and one on the nondrive side works fine
cheers tom
