[#745947]

just got my new deore chainset and bb today with no instructions! it has 3 spacers with it i just dont know where they go? ive tryed 2 on the driveside and one non drive and the crank axel sticks about 1/2" out of the otherside?
this is the sizing of the on-one website:

BB Shell
68mm (axle length of 113mm for most cranks these days except for '03 and later LX which need a whopping 121mm axle, according to this).

any help?

cheers tom

ive tryed that and there is only a tiny bit of axel sticking through? not even enough for that little nut thing to fasten on?

Oh and try hitting it fairly hard with a rubber mallet to make sure it's properly inserted

Second that. This could well be your problem. If you don't have a rubber mallet any heavy hammer-like object will do. Just make sure you put a bit of wood between said hammer and chainset.
