Have a set of 615 deore brakes, had them for about 6 months no problems.
The rear I've noticed has very little Lever travel And the pads rub the disc.
Retracted the pads, but it returns to this after a few lever pumps.
Pads seem Ok too
Ill bleed it and see if this helps, but it did seem a bit sudden. Any ideas?

Yeah, I've adjusted and readjusted, set them with and without birzman spacers too.

Sounds like a sticky piston in the caliper. I had this on some Hayes Stroker Trails. Try removing the caliper from the frame and take the pads out. Clean round the pistons with a little oil. Pull the lever untill they move then carefully push them back. Repeat a few times.
Pistons are moving ok as far as I can see. Swapped pads with the front and the front is playing up similar to the back. So Pads I think.
Only look half worn to me!
Think I've figured this out.
oddly it's to do with the springs. I noticed that the pistons weren't retracting very well, so opened the spring up a bit. kinda solved the initial problem but also caused the pistons after about a minute to retract further, requiring the brake to be pumped a bit to find the bite point.
changed the pads now so all is back to normal, but thought I'd report back.
