Anybody know what the spacing between tooth centre lines are for a 9-speed shimano chainset? Does it differ for the new 10 speed XTR? I'm making a double out of an XT triple, and need to know the spacing so I can use the new XTR 2x10 shifters. Any help gratefully received.

Shirely there will be only 1 click on them and so it won't matter? (i.e. wee ring position set by stop, big ring set by shifter & stop)

It seams from measuring that the outer XT ring is thicker by 1mm than the middle ring, so I need to be looking at spacing, and maintain the right spacing
