So just got my ne hg 93 xt chain, now I've never fitted one before and have heard they are directional ! Is this correct ? All my instructions are in some foreign tongue. Also the pom which obviously goes between links is about 12mm . Do I snap this with pliers ?

There was a yellow sticker on the actual wrapper that the chain is in showing the direction, writing on the outside as I refer. And yeah just snap the pin with pliers it does take some doing though.
