Hi, has anyone used shimano link pins on other makes of chain? I know you can use the sram/kmc quick links in shimano chains, so can you do it the other way? I seem to get through a lot of broken chains, and it is always the next link to the quick link that breaks, so i suspect there is a weak point due to extra movement or something! And yes, i do know how to change gear 😆 (before anyone comments!) but accidents do happen!
