I'm thinking about replacing the knackered brakes on the missus bike and I found these on ebay [url= http://tinyurl.com/na298dt ]Clicky brakes[/url]
I always thought that Shimano required mineral fluid, not DOT5.1 which can ruin the seals.
Should I bid on these or has the seller ruined a decent set of brakes?

If the seller has used DOT the seals won't last long.

Yep shimano should use mineral oil, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Plus they are quite old, I would rather run newer deore or slx than xtr of that vintage.
