[#2854304]

my mates after some 180mm adaptors for his xt brakes - on his anthem x2 he has no adaptor at all the caliper goes straight on to the fork so assuming its at 160mm at the mo??

which adaptor will he need folks to go 180mm?

Looks like Shimano have changed it slightly but yes, that one will be fine.
It used to be part number SM-MA-F180P/P

As DT says, any 160mm post to 180mm post will do the job.

There's three from Shimano out there that'll do the job (front I'm talking about), and many from others, like Superstar, Ashima etc. :-

Shimano SM-MA-F180 P/P - the original shimano one which offsets the caliper from the original mounting holes

Shimano SM-MA-F180 P/P2 - the new one from Shimano which uses the same mounting holes

Shimano SM-MA90-F180P/P - the XTR version of the P2, and the one shown in your link to Ebay.

Take your choice.....

Do the front and try it with 180F/160R first. That may be enough.

If you do decide to go 180 rear too, then you'll probably NOT want to adapt IS to IS!!! as you'll already likely have an adapter on the rear to take IS to 160 (post) as this is what you use to centre the caliper around the disc. You'll want to replace that with a bigger one instead.
You'll want an IS to 180 post rear like this
