I got a new frame the other day and the non drive bb is a massive pain to get in. (Rear triangle linkage). I have a xt m800 bb, it’s in, but not looking forward to the time it has to come out!
Is the a bb socket which fits the newer, smaller Shimano bbs?
Cheers, Chris

There's a plastic adaptor which fits into the older style Shimano BB socket.

If you buy a MT800 BB, it comes with an adapter that fits into the older tool. If, for some reason, you don't get one, I can send one to you for the cost of postage.

How did you manage to fit the one you have?

No, you need a smaller one for xtr and dura ace

I just got a Icetoolz M093. It was £10 off eBay, so a fair bit cheaper than the Park one. I’ve not used it yet, but it look well made.
