As per title
im putting flat bars on the wifes road bike, it has 2011 ultegra brakes

The only thing I noticed is the 780 are for "Super SLR" models, e.g. 7600 Ultegra according to the blurb on Merlin.
Someone on here more up to speed with road kit, might be able to tell you if 2011 = 7600. Or if the cable pull is different between Super and non-Super.

They look identical, so I agree it's probabilly a different cable pull, looks like ill have to take a guess and sent it back if its wrong

Or speak to the shop you're buying from and ask them the difference?

I did ask at Leisure Lakes and Evans but unfortunately neither knew the answer either, I will try a few more though
