Having a few pairs of Shimano shoes and boots in the past, I normally find that although I'm a 41, a 42 provides best fit.
Same situation still or are the AM series of boots a match for a normal size now?
Unfortunately, none of my LBS's keep them in stock, hence mail-order....

No, go one size up as always. I've had Shimano shoes in +1 sizing for years and AM30s are no exception
