Just like to know what chains people are using. was told today that I must use a shimano chain, but usually fit sram ones to my mtbs. I suspect shimano say you have to but surely any 11 speed one would work wouldn't it?

Use KMC 11 speed chain with mine, works great!

KMC or SRAM will work fine.
It's surprising what will mesh together and still work perfectly now. I'm on SRAM cassette, KMC chain, Praxis rings on Rotor cranks operated by Shimano mechs and levers and it's 100%!

I run KMC 11 speed chains on my two Campag equipped bikes, one of which has a 10 speed crankset and rings. No problems at all.
