Evening all... Stupid question but just straightened my derailleur hanger when putting the derailleur back on I noticed it has two tabs which are obviously set the angle of rotation. Thing is... Seems I can install in two positions with the end stop on the hanger in between the tabs.... Or as I have done like below (if the picture works!)
Shifting is fine (and the angle looks OK) but I can't remember seeing these two tabs before... On all my other bikes there is just one clear tab
This is a 105 11 speed road derailleur on my croix de fer

That’s the correct way to mount it.
