So not long until Shimano reveal their 100th anniversary website.
Do we think they'll unveil anything new or ground breaking?

Would be nice if they had something to rival AXS and at the lower end of the price point.

Semi-wireless Dura-Ace seems to the popular speculation.

What I'd like is GRX 12 speed semi wireless using the existing 10-45 cassette and a short travel wireless dropper post.

No idea what we'll actually get but I bet the existing trickle down may prevale.

Electronically controlled gearbox and do away with the derailleur completely.

14 speed wireless group sets for road, gravel and MTB please.

More realistically something to compete with AXS.

Shimano won't stop usin Cup and cone, they're an engineering first company. Cup and cone is better from an engineering and performance point of view. It might be less convenient, but from an engineering perspective it's better enough that they will carry on using it regardless of what everyone else does

Despite the fact that they’ve ditched cup and cone for the latest XTR MS Boost hubs...

XTR are still cup and cone.

It’s their entry level hubs that use cartridge bearings like the £36.99 FH-MT401.
