So after a new mech new inner and outer cables and still need a thumb like Thor.Shifter seems to work fine indexs nicely with cable not attached,what could it possibly be.Set up is 1x9 on a Bfe which has open cable under the top tube and the lower outer tends no to take a great line to the mech.

Does the inner run smoothly through the outer?

Inner runs smooth through outer the routing i feel it aint ideal the outer bows in off the rear triangle before reaching the mech.
