Converting to a 2x10 set-up but struggling to find a two ring specific front shifter, I'm after Shimano shifters, do I just use a normal 3 ring front shifter but set the limit screws accordingly? Surely Shimano do a double front shifter?

Shimano do an SLX doube specific front mech if that's any help.
The other option is to set the limit screws accordingly as you say. My xc bike is fitted with a double and a triple specific SLX front mech and I get by just fine using this method.
Remembering that you've only got two rings helps!
