What's it riding like at the minute? Fancy something other than local woods tomorrow but don't want to drive too far.
It's crazy wet around here at the moment.
Wettest I can remember in years.
It will be in its worst possible condition I'm afraid. I despise it when it's this wet.
Could be worse. Could be Northants clay like round here. Brilliant quick on the 2 or 3 days each year it's dry. Either the slippiest, slimiest surface ever or so claggy you could build a golem from it when it's wet.
Sounds like Sherwood is off the radar then - had hoped all the drainage work over the last couple of years had improved things.
Another local ride for me then, or a longer drive to Cannock and slippy cobbles, or a trip to Thetford and a well-drained but sandy pedalfest...
