I'm wanting to save myself a few quid as we all do. My training bike is ready for a fork seal and oil change. Before I attempt it, is it as straight forward as the online tutorials/manuals explain? Any advice/experience would be much appreciated. Thanks.

long as you dont need seals and bushes they are very very simple forks for service.

if you have the online guides it will be self explanitory.

Trolling zoo fighter watched me service mine in his garden with a pair of screw drivers , a 5mm allen key , a 10mm deep drive socket and a rock ....

id blown the damping side and had to strip down and reset it + wanted to ride the next day 140 miles from my home workshop ...

Dead easy. If they're 09s, make sure you've a long and thin enough socket to fit the footnuts.

Think I'll have a go at it, should only be just fork seals and oil as they were only serviced in Sep08. I've got a Rock in my toolbox too, I wonder if Park can start doing Blue ones to match!! Cheers. I'll post if I get into trouble with them. Thanks.
