Considering going 2 x 10 on a new build, and was wondering if anyone had put any decent mileage on the new Shimano shadow plus rear mechs? I've been using a bionicon c-guide to keep the chain on my existing 3 x 9 set up, and it's been surprisingly good (one ridiculously muddy xc race notwithstanding). But the bike would look neater without it.
I'm just a bit dubious about adding another 'system' into the equation I guess. Any thoughts?
