[#2959266]

I recent weeks I have been struggling with repeatedly getting crap in my eyes. I have tried the small front mudguard on one of my bikes and still getting issues.

I have a large round head and find most shades don't fit and just look stupid. Does anyone know of any brands or particular models that I should be looking for, any that are suited to a man with a large cranium.

All suggestions welcome

Yes I do - try the Endura Spectrum range.

I have a big noggin and these are about the best ive ever found, if they dont fit you then im afraid theres not much hope for you, Shrek 😉

Superb value for money , and available in different tints for bright/dusk riding.

Decathlon has a fairly large (no pun intended) range of sunnies, if you've got a store near you it'd be worth heading in and trying them on. I've got a big head and their cheapo bike glasses work fine.

I've found the D'arcs a bit tight on the sides, and the flat line along the top looks a bit daft on round heads.

My brother once said of us both - "We're both very similar in a lot of ways, except he's got a fat head"

I wear Adidas Evil Eyes

If I were you I'd re-examine the mudguard situation. Shades don't help much imo because the mud gets all over the shades instead and you have to stop and wipe it off frequently.

Lots of proppa man-size safety specs in B&Q etc. Check out the JRP glasses in clear or smoke or the iridium lens/yellow frame DeWalts.

£10 max

You might also try Oakley's "Asian Fit" line of sunglasses? Not sure if your head is "big" in the right way, but might be worth trying some on.

Same problem here. Big head and a broken nose.
Evertything I've tried pinches my head and becomes unbarable. Also because of my nose they slip down and the top of the rim goes straight across my eyeline.
So in the riding position I'm looking over my glasses.

I had a set in the eighties that worked for a bit, but because they touched my face sweat just ran in and outside of the lenses.

Suggestions.

Getting the right fit is essential for comfort, protection, and even optical performance. You may have heard industry terms like “European Fit” and “Asian Fit”. If sunglasses tend to sit too low on your face or slide down your nose, touch at your temples or cheeks, or feel narrow at the sides of your head, try our Asian Fit. The tabs below show all the technology we put into making these frames fit with perfection

Sounds spot on.
