One of my XTR pedals has developed a lot of play, anyone know what to do with this? Do the bearings go and have to be replaced or is there something inside that needs adjusting? This a job for the bike shop? Don't have a lot of tools or a clamp so not sure I'm going to be able to get that nut on the axle undone.
I'd take them to the bike shop and let them snap the axle 😉
Mine were replaced under warranty after mine snapped whilst adjusting bearings with appropriate tools and technique.
They don't make them like they used to!

if they are less than 3 years old send em back under warranty
The new XTR pedals are known to be made of swiss cheese - and I've had 4 pairs so far under warrenty....
