I have a set of rc36's that I want to get serviced as part of my latest 'project' - rebuilding my 1996 orange p7. Which I'm very excited about btw.
Are pace still the best place to get old forks serviced? I've had a look at their website and it says they still do them, although I don't know how old that text is.
New stickers etc would be nice which I think pace do.

Yes pace still do all servicing at Dalby in their new workshop. The new fork decals have only just been put on their site.
Well thats certainly a fair bit cheaper than pace.
Just noticed that thread is 2 years old, anyone confirm he's still in business?
I've used him a little more recently than that - would also be my recommendation.
They are a doddle to do yourself (if you don't require any new parts), really is nothing complicated in them at all. Circlip pliers may be the only thing out of the ordinary which you will require. Have a look on the google for an exploded diagram of them, it's fairly self-explanatory.
Yeh I know as I've serviced them years ago. But one of the lower legs has unbonded from the brace so I would hope that could be fixed too. Then I want new stickers on it, probably needs new bushes and seals and to be honest I want the bike as new, not sure just taking the fork apart will achieve that.
