I'm thinking about having a go at servicing my Maverick DUC 32 forks. The climbing mode now does nothing and they're diving like crazy and bottoming out. They were serviced a couple of years ago at a cost of £99, but they're now asking £150. Hence wanting to try it myself.
The documentation talks about 5wt oil, but also lubricating oil? Are they actually different things, or can I just use the 5wt shock oil I've ordered whenever it mentions 'oil'?
While I'm here - anyone got any hints, tips, warnings? 🙂

It's been a while since I touched a DUC32, but from memory, you need to be super careful with the small fasteners at the top of the fork - the air valve one and the damping adjuster bits. It's very easy to break them if you over tighten and I suspect getting replacement parts these days could be problematic. But mostly it's pretty straightforward as long as you're methodical and follow the service instructions carefully.

Does anyone have a spare bolt that goes on quick release clamp from at the wheel end and locates into the fixed side of the clamp- with like the half moon ball on it.
Mines split in half in February 🙂
