My Hope V2 rear is not behaving as well as the front so was thinking it could do with some attention. I was thinking of sending it back to hope for a full service as I think new seals and stuff may liven it up.

Has anyone done this? Do they come back transformed into mega brakes? How much did it cost?

Yup, sent loads. Best place for em. They ring when complete to take payment over the phone. Quick too.

Yes I have as well, print off the form from their website and they phone you for payment after a few days. Brakes work fine now, also changed the pads. Think mine were around £95 for strip/service & new pads and return postage, done in Jan 12.

Someone'll be along in a minute to ask why this is needed if they're such good brakes.
I've done it a couple of times - when the brakes have been a few years old, and others say, they come back like new.

I got quite a shock when Hope phoned me to tell me they were ready and it would be £95 😯 I was expecting about 1/2 that! Must have had a lot of issues.
Anyway, needless to say, they performed like new after - although I've never had a new set of disk brakes, I'm sure they felt like new!
