Morning

I have a few bits and pieces in a spares box gathering dust in the garage that might be of use to some of you lovely people.
Having never sold anything on here, I'm a bit unsure of how to go about it.
Assuming I've set up a link in Classifieds with pics, prices, descriptions etc, do you email me with your details, is that generally inclusive of postage, and how do I get my hands on your filthy lucre?

Any info would be useful - intend putting on later this morning.

Cheers

pay pal is the norm. Don't ask for it as 'gift'.

expected to be quizzed as you have not posted much before.

offer a land-line telephone number and/or work email.

good luck

and if you sell make a donation to the site.

Yep, put pictures up (go to photobucket/flickr or wherever, right click on the image and find the link then paste it in here as [img ] www.abcdefg.jpg [/ img] without any spaces otherwise you will just get no interest or hundreds of people specultivelyasking for pics by e-mail which is 10x more effort on your part.

Prices, usual guide is ebay prices minus a little as your not paying fees and its a smaller market.

Payment, it works on trust, either cash on collection, cheques, paypay 'gift' is quite common as it avoids having to pay fee's which the seller has to pay but ultimately only protect the buyer and leave the seller open to scamming.

There's a 'buy STW a kebab' link somewhere where you can donate a few quid if you do well selling stuff.

See also the rules page, its really anoying when people dont read them and stick to them, they make it fair for all, stuff like only 2 adds at a time, no reposting in 24 hours etc.
