From me, a great big yay:
1. I can do other stuff instead of driving.
2. I won't have to put up with other people's sillyness and aggression (whether I'm driving or cycling)
3. I won't have to pay fixed costs for a car which sits on my drive 5+ days a week doing nothing
4. More people will cycle
5. Kids will play in the street again
6. Huge swathes of London will have wide streets again, rather than being lined with cars
7. I won't have to sit in traffic getting nowhere, ever again
8. Lots of people will just chill out generally when they don't have to deal with the hassle of driving
