Currently have Rev Team forks 120-150 U-turn. Think they are 2010 version. Thinking of going back to coil as I used to like my Vanillas but would prefer Rockshox and quite like the idea of the Sektor DPC system.

Anyone compared Rev air forks to Sektor coil?

why not swap the damper out of the revs if better than in the sektor - win/win

Surely the cheepest/best option woud be to buy a DPC spring and adjuster for the Rev's, they're about £70 I think.

I've just gone the other way. Sektor coil u-turnt to Rev team u-turns.

The sektors are great forks but on repeated large hits, the rebound can't cope and it feels a little dead. Some talk of upgrading the rebound cartridge, if this is doable then the sektors will be great.

Doable, but the rebound cartridge is about the same cost as the coil spring. Ask LOCO he'll be able to price up the options, but unless you need new forks for someother reason I suspect up/downgrading the current ones to a coil spring will work out cheepest.

No chance of just mix-and-matching? Buy sektors, fit your favourite bits into one chassis, sell the other one on (with an honest description- "These are revelations with a Sektor moco damper in" or whatever)
