Anyone got any ideas to free up a seized thru-axle on a pair of rockshox. Ive tried various types of oils to free it up and nothing is working. If I use any force the quick release leaver starts to shear through the metal of the axle where rockshox quick releases slots into to open.

kettle of boiling water over the threaded stanchion and unscrew would be my first attempt.

Ive just got it off using brute force with minimal damage to the quick release. That will teach me to keep it greased up in the future. Thanks anyway.
