As above Mrs G has trek superfly in carbon has been creaking like hell last couple of rides. the bearings feel free and smooth when turning cranks by hand, so Im thinking remove/replace and use loctite 641. NDS crank off easy the rest feels welded to the bearings and will not budge, ive changed hammers used wd 40 waited etc any ideas that wont kill the frame?

Have you got a bearing press big enough? Could you bodge one using a bench vice? Hammer's not ideal. Press the axle through from the side which no longer has a crank on it
I'm assuming both crank and frame need to be saved, otherwise get the dremel out

Just make sure it's very, very straight when you start to tighten it...

Any way you can get the BB off? If that's what is holding the bearing the crank is seized to then removing the NDS BB shell might allow you to give the spindle a tap up or down (gently at first) to try and break the seizure. Getting the drive side BB off would probably be difficult, but if you can then it should be fairly easy to hammer the crank out holding the BB shell in a vice.

Trek BB90 pressfit? Just give the crank spindle a firm whack to drift it out. If you’re worried, take it to someone with a bigger hammer - the bearing make come out, or may stay in the frame.
