I'm seeking a cheap rapid rise rear mech to help fix up the wreck found in a friend's garage. All she wants to do is to pootle about in the park and along the cyclepath to town. Original part was a Shimano RD-CO50, a rapid rise rear mech. I really don't want to go down the 'change the shifters' as well route.

Any ideas?

Rapid rise is all in the mech, so you can fit a normal mech with your shifters if needed. Not sure what you consider cheap, but we mistakenly bought a few Deore rapid rise mechs that we're looking to shift(no pun intended), give me a call after 9.30 tomorrow if you're interested, and i'll see wow much we can do one for(02920371321)
