For removing a kmc power link? It's been on the bike a while now but the chain's in tip top condition really..........and if i had a "third hand" i'd be sorted!!

any help would be muchly appreciated.

Piece of gear cable to pull both ends of link together helps, or needle nose pliers. I ended up buying the KMC missing link pliers, much easier and only about a tenner.

Just the same as a SRAM one isn't it?

Just squeeze the plates together & push the adjacent links towards the powerlink
Use GT85 or similar to clean it a bit if it's stuck

genius! i've had six inches of brake cable kickin' about the garage for about 3 years.......i knew it'd come in handy one day!!
