I know I need a 110mm boost for the front wheel, but what do I need for the back? I've seen 148mm, hub but they come in shimano or sram whats the difference? and how do I know what mine is currently as it doesn't say on the spec or on the bike? its a speshi fuse. I'm guessing the only difference is if I plan to put a shimano or sram cassette on it?

It will need a boost hub - 148mm. Do you have the spec sheet there? If it's a 10-42 cassette, it's definitely a SRAM and will need an XD driver (SRAM) hub.

I think it's a Fuse Expert you have?

Drivetrain: The drivetrain is funky mix, with Specialized Stout cranks with a 30-tooth narrow-wide chain ring matched to a Sun Race 11-40 10-speed cassette. It’s all hooked up to a new SRAM GX derailleur and X9 shifter.

If that's the case then it's a standard freehub, not an XD.

So a 148mm shimano then? Stick a shimano 10 speed cassette on it.

Yep. Any 10-speed cassette will do, though you'll not get 11-40 like the Sunrace. That might affect chain length and mech position. For simplicity (and to ensure no differential chain/mech wear issues) I'd probably just swap the cassette over when changing the wheel. It's a two-minute job with the right tools.

I've already got a spare cassette, I know Cannock eats them for breakfast! Just about to order the wheels, I've got the tyres and tubes, quite fancy some hope hubs on this set.

Also expect to fiddle with caliper alignment when changing wheels - often just a mm or so.
