I have a specialized Camber 2015 29er and at the moment, use a seatpost mounted bag as storage as I don't like to wear a camelback.

If I was to get a Dropper post then I wouldn't be able to use the seatpost bag, anyone think of an alternative ?

The one space it has for bottle cage, unfortunately already is used for water.

This has been the one thing putting me off getting a dropper post.

I have one. Great bit of kit except for the bag/wheel interface when seat is dropped and suspension squashes...

There are a few bags that fit to the seat rails only so can work but as above you do risk the tyre rubbing on it. Took me a while to realise what it was first time it happened to me. Presumably you are using the bottle mount for a bottle. Frame bag is probably the best option or maybe specialized swat but that could get expensive.

Me too! Quite disturbing. Thought something major had come adrift on the back of the bike.

If you have a bottle cage spare, pick up one of the tool bottles, e.g. (there're better options, but this came up first)

What do you want to store? A co2 inflator and pair of tyre levers wrapped in a tube goes nicely between the seat rails with some Velcro straps, if you want to get spendy then assuming you've got the spesh bottle cage you can get the spesh multi tool that attaches to that and the chain tool top cap - covers emergencies then. I really like the swat system, means everything is on the bike nicely not in a jersey pocket, but it's not cheap. I don't think you can get the full storage box to fit the camber though.

Do you need full drop? You can use the enduro collar that comes with the reverb to stop a seat bag hitting the tyre but that obviously depends on the bike and rider as to wether it's any use.

I use this - Lezyne M Caddy - seems to work well with dropper, plus can swap pack between bikes.

Orlieb mini seatpack - uses a clip and is properly water resistant with no zip to gunk-up.

Like this - I use the first type as my tail light fits it better
