[#7649260]

I have a G150 works and just noticed my seat clamp is quite funky,, it has a separate piece which sits on the seatpost. I would like to stick with this clamp however I need to covert it to QR.

Is it possible to just get a QR bolt and nut and put it through my existing clamp? Iv contacted ATB and local dealer but no response yet, I was wondering on here if anyone was in same position or come across this before?

This is what I currently have

Damn, if I was back home I could have helped you with this! I've got a couple of Whyte QR seat clamps sitting in a drawer at home. ATB/your dealer should be able to help though.

Local dealer cant help, and ATB say it doesn't exist - the fixed clamp is the only one they do - so I cant QR with my existing clmap and it doesn't look like Whyte do a clamp with the shim that will work :(:(

Will a standard QR seatclamp not fit?

The Whyte one has a shim within the clamp which plugs a whole in the frame and sits directly onto the seatpost

sorted and free aswell!, spoke to a guy from ATB on the phone and he was unable to help - however as I said at the beginning of the thread I had sent an email. ATB got back to me and sent me a Whyte QR lever and Whyte Cog Nut thing free - completely sorted out. Result!
