My seat keeps slipping backwards on the post, happens every single time i ride. Tried everything from bits of innertube and sandpaper to assembly paste. Im going out of my mind with it, so has any1 got any sugesttions or is it time for a new seat post ?

Never heard of this. tighten it.
"Pegalling" is different. You have to go on a course for the day with that man with the beard off of up North.

Bog standard kona one, single bolt in the middle.
tighten it.
Tightened it to within an inch of its life.
Maybe add a beer can shim?
Without a picture, I have no idea what the clamp looks like, so its hard to suggest anything...
