I've a reverb, £185 from CRC, bleed kit £10 form epic bleed solutions + some 2.5wt fluid I already had.

Pro's, it does what it says on the tin. Leant it to a skeptical mate who decided he wanted one almost instantly after that.

Con's, reliability and weight, but thats comparing to a product with no movin parts. The latter could/will be solved if more companies offer I-beam gstyle mounts which shed some of the weight gained. The former I've not had any problems with, play is very minimal, about as much in the saddle as you'd get from worn shock bushings, but it's not possible to feel it when riding.

It's not cheep, and like most MTB purchases people think it's a silly waste of money, but in the context of £1500+ bikes it's a good value upgrade compared to say a new bar/stem/seatpost combination, heck I've spent almost as much on my pedals before!

I got a RS reverb, my friends took the pi*s out of me for spending £195 (Hibike in Germany inc bleed kit) on a seatpost. They all have one now after watching me using mine and having so much fun amd freedom on the trails. The latest one my friend got has zero play aswell. Worth every penny

I was really put off by the price, too. In the end I stuck some bits on ebay that I knew I'd never use so it was effectively free 🙂 Great purchase, really good for an extra boost of confidence on the steep stuff and saves my old knees when climbing. I've got the Specialized Command Post which seems to still be working OK
