[Closed] Seat post shims

They can be ok - used an ale can shim a couple of times with success.

Obv getting the right size seatpost is preferable, but some frames are just a wee bit out of spec that they won't take the post securely. And you're not going to throw the frame away when you can sort it for the price of a can of stella.

Fine - I like the plastic ones as they creak less 🙂

Work fine but a bit prone to creaking

Giant specced them for years on their frames - 27.2 seatposts in fat seat tubes.
