Hi Everyone I've got a Salsa frame to build and I see on their website that 35mm is the required size. My local bike shop has Hope 34.9. Are these interchangable or should I get 35mm only?

Same difference.
32mm and 31.8mm are interchangeable also.
Anyway, if you have a Salsa frame, should you not be fitting a Salsa clamp to it? 😉

The only one I can remember that comes in 35.0 are the salsa clamps (flip lock and lip lock?), so had guessed it was them measuring differently or something rather than it being a completely different size
Either way the reviews I could find suggested the salsa QR skewer is way better than the hope ones. I can confirm the salsa QR skewer is very good. My default choice now I reckon. Not mega cheap but not chromag/crank brothers money either
Thanks for that guys. You're quite right Mboy: I'm afraid I got a bit impatient in the shop when they didn't have a Salsa. I'll probably regret it for the rest of my life!
