I need new gear cables should i go for normal cables or new style ptfe/sealed??

For standard cables xtr are hard to beat but now gore no longer make cables the only sealed ones I can think of are transfil flying snakes.

+1 for flying snakes. Not touched them since they were installed 7-8 mths ago. That's regular rides in Cannock sandy crap and wyre mud. Well worth the money. I was cleaning the oem jagwire cables out almost every ride.

normal inners and outer just run the outer full length!
