So, I lived in Silicon Valley from 1993-1998 and rode the Bud Light California races and the Sea Otter several times.
How times have changed!
Thought I'd share this bit of retro nostalgia with the STW massive.
Me in 1995 aboard my Roberts DOGS BOLX with Judy's (remember those?) and in 1996 at the Sea Otter on board my first Bontrager.

Excellent pics, thanks for sharing. I still have a pair of Judy XCs in the garage. The elastomers used to freeze in the winter IIRC.

Front tyre in the top pic was a Continental - don't remember the model name though.
In the bottom pic they were a pair of very special limited edition Vredestein's that I was lucky enough to be asked to test.
Also, the DOGS BOLX is still being used - but by a very good friend who lives in Spain. I'm now on a Turner, among other things.
