Having another bash at the 100 tomorrow. My excuse for bailing at 65 was muddy conditions from Winchester through to about QEP and road tires.

Prep'ing the tire choice - has anyone been out in that area over the last few days/eves?

What's the track like - dry or muddy and slippy

Cheers

Nigel

rode around cheesefoot head last night and it was dry. from experience i know the bit around exton is the most likely to be mudy...

good luck. ๐Ÿ˜€

Did it on Saturday and conditions were mostly dry but a few muddy patches and puddles. As there's been no rain since conditions should have improved

Does anyone know what time the BHF events start?

I'm going to have a pootle from Winch, probably to Devils Dyke tomorrow.

First train gets me to Winch for 7:30ish so probably a 8AM kick off for me.

I tried back in June and the start was at 5:30

Officials get there at 5:00am and set up camp. You can register on the day for about 35.00

Leave anytime really, but the 'official' start if 05:30

HTH
