I do want to ask Scott what trails he has done in the last two videos are doable by normal (fat and old) humans. He seems to have been properly at his limit at some points.

Would gladly revisit Loch Morar, and still have a 60km loop from Inverie that looks semi-rideable (lots of stalkers tracks, one of which appears to have been turned into a land rover track ☹️)
I think that Sourlies is best visited on foot or better still, by Kayak! I have ridden from Inverie to Shiel Bridge and enjoyed it. My two main comments are 1. Go with a light bike and light load like he did. Because… 2. Barrisdale to Kinloch Hourn is a lot longer harder than he suggested, especially if you can’t shoulder your bike.
Have they found a replacement for that 'jolly' fellow running the pub?
I'd not be in a hurry to take a bike in there either. one thing grates with me, for a lot of Brits it's a matter of pride that you mispronounce foreign words. When it's a Scot making zero effort with Scots and Gaelic words it's really rather lame. Mallaig is about the only one he got right, not being able to pronounce the "ch" sound in his own surname must be a source of mirth among his peers.
Yeah I'm not a fan of the presenting style in general but that's just personal taste.
I enjoy Rusty Rides Gravel's videos on YouTube and would almost have preferred to see him do this ride, but he openly acknowledges his struggle with some pronunciations 😎
Some incredibly narrow minded views on language here. Language is fluid, look up Stephen Fry on the pleasure of language for some enlightenment but essentially you cant pronounce your own name wrong!
I for one love Scotty's series, its the best showcase of true all mountain Scottish riding I'm aware of. The fact some of the rides push a world class rider to his limits only confirms that Scotland should not be underestimated!
