I'm heading up to Scotland for a week of riding next week and wondered if anyone could advise on weather/conditions?
Looking at heading to Fort William (to do the Tour de Ben Nevis route), Torridon, and Aviemore/Blair Atholl areas. Am I going to be pushing through miles of bogs?
Am I going to be pushing through miles of bogs?
You got Kenny Wilson's guide? ๐
Cairngorms are still pretty snowy high up, but the lower stuff there is fine. Not much snow in Torridon last weekend apart from on high tops.
Very dry in both those places (where not snowy).
Was up there a wee while ago and it was dirty and a quite rocky. Had to wash my bike aftrwards!
You'll never get a serious answer to that question. Be prepaired! Dib dib dib.
Stunning yesterday. Nevis from Lawers.

Err no but there's some cold weather on it's way:

A week's a long time out - just keep checking the mwis website by area.
If you are aiming high the climbing and hillwalking sites are a good source for recent trip reports - better than asking on here tbh.

depends on your route
