I'm in the process of changing from 2x to 1x on my 2015 spark. The question is when I take off the front mech I'll have a spare internal cable route so can I run my rear brake pipe throu the frame or will the diameter of the pipe be too big

Brake hose is 5mm, shifter outer is 4mm.
I'm not 100% but iirc the front mech isn't run with a full outer internally.
I drilled out the cable to run internal dropper post on that gen Genius.
Going to 5mm would need lots of care. You'd also need to open out the stops in the plastic BB guide.
