So I rode the bouncy bouncy space hopper big tyres the other week and it was fun, climbed like a demon, ate big rocks, and bounced down the trickier stuff. A bit draggy in grassy tussocks and floaty on mud though.

What I really want to know is what are these things like with a narrow (normal?) 29er wheel in?

The concept of having a frame that does both sounds great, but what is it like in practice?

Anyone tried it?

The same but with less rolling resistance, less grip & a higher BB

I built up a set of 29er wheels for my Pact B+. I might even get around to fitting them one day....
