Any recommendations for a decent Scott dealer in SE. I'm London based, happy to travel. I've got a poorly Spark RC900 that needs some TLC, including bearings....
Any decent bike mechanic should be able to sort the bearings, but Bikes Direct in Dorking are a Scott dealer and have a workshop.
They have recently moved in to a new unit with a good little café and are a great base for a ride in the Surrey hills.
Westbrook cycles for mail order Scott specific kits if there's a particular piece(s) of hardware you need, your LBS should be good with bearing replacements. The only useful thing about a Scott dealer would be access to factory service manuals and bushing tuning washers on hand as smothering bushings in antiseize and locktite isn't an appropriate solution.
@Lucien, my RC900 is currently in with Fettle for bearings cables and bottom brackets. They are a great series of shops with ex-pro mechanics employed. I know the owner he's a fellow club mate, they have a great reputation.
As you can see from the website they will also collect and return in zones 1-3.
