Any users removed and had shocks changed to non remote, if so what was the cost. Scott don't offer without and I can't abide all the cables up front

About 5 mins of your time?   The forks just a spring loaded compression adjuster.  The shock more complex but there’s no way you are reaching down for that whilst riding without losing your teeth.  If you don’t want to adjust then just take off the lever and remove the cables - again 5 mins.

Or just get the spiral plastic cable tidy (looks like a Plastic document binder) and leave it as it is, 5 mins and 3 x slightly fatter looking cable are what remains.

Forks used to be easy and you could just swap out the fit4 remote parts for 3pos lever parts.
Fox have different u cups as of 2018/9 so to delete the remote and maintain the 3pos adjustment as there's no longer an ident spring recess in the remote u cup.
You can pull the cables as above if you want but the joy of the Scott platform is the 3 pos rear shock functionality.
Whilst good pedalling platforms exist, I don't see a 150mm bike out there that pedals as well as the genius in 110mm mode.
There's no option to delete the remote on the nude rear shock without just leaving it wide open.
If you have a genius with a nude tr, I'd be happy to swap for a 3pos lever float dps 😉

To add, there's no way to change the grip damper from remote to lever without a new grip lever damper.
