Was thinking about getting one of these:

but my tiso rucksack already has an orange raincover, so I was wondering can I get the Scotchlite reflective stuff in sheets of material that I could sew/glue onto my existing cover?

It might not be as pretty, but it should do the job?

I know you can get it in sticker form but this wont last long enough.

I got some cloth Scotchlite tape years ago when I was motorcycling and did much as you suggested. I'd be surprised if none was available retail. - but if not, you could always contact a bike clothing manufacturer (e.g. Endura) and see if they'd sell you a small piece.

Ah - the power of google ... http://www.kleins.co.uk/3m-scotchlite-reflective-tape-trim-28-p.asp (helps if you know what you're looking for?)
