Is there a trick to mounting these? The tyre seems so loose the air just pishes out without actually inflating the tyre onto the rim, tried mounting one with a tube and it hooked onto the rim but once the tube was out back to not inflating, co2 made no difference. Any tips?
Are they the TLR model? If so they should be ok.

Yep, tlr, just seem really loose, took them off, stuck the panaracers back on and they wet up first time with a track pump
Schwalbe are usually on the tight side rather than loose so that's an odd one.funnily enough I'm awaiting delivery of a pair of R Ron's to go on my mavic STs so I'll see ,
Put one on my cross max st a couple of weeks ago and it went up easy with a track pump. It was the evo 2.2 pace star. Strange that the snakeskin is different.
